Elizabeth Montgomery (April 15, 1933 – May 18, 1995) was an American film and television actress. She is best remembered for her iconic role as the witch <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Samantha%20Stephens">Samantha Stephens</a> on the television series Bewitched.
Montgomery came from a prominent theatrical family. Her father was actor <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Robert%20Montgomery">Robert Montgomery</a>, and her mother was actress Elizabeth Allen. This background gave her a significant advantage in entering the world of acting.
She began her career on television in the 1950s, appearing in various anthology series and dramas. Prior to Bewitched, she had roles in Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Twilight Zone, and 77 Sunset Strip.
